As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness by caring for residents' clothing and linens and returned promptly to a high standard. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in their work and contributes to a warm, supportive environment.
21 hours per week, worked across 3 days, including alternate weekends.

About The Role
As a laundry assistant you will:
Ensure all linen and clothing are washed at the correct temperatures in line with infection control guidelines.
Dry, fold, and distribute laundry correctly to designated cupboards or individual residents' rooms.
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised laundry area at all times.
Report any faulty equipment or maintenance issues to the Registered Manager or Nurse in Charge.
Follow all Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
All successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS.
N.B**The pay for this role meets the national minimum wage for over 21s.
