Working within a collaborative team, you’ll shape strategic sourcing, support procurement transformation, and deliver value-for-money solutions across a wide range of categories. You’ll play a key role in building strong supplier markets, driving social value, and ensuring governance compliance aligned with UK regulations and local authority standing orders.
What You’ll Do:
1. Shape and support strategic procurement initiatives across goods, services, and works.
2. Lead on opportunity assessments, supplier engagement and category insight.
3. Support colleagues and services through training, contract management, and guidance.
4. Promote local spend, social value, and community outcomes in line with council priorities.
5. Ensure full compliance with public procurement regulations and internal policies.
