The Best Connection is recruiting for a Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner on behalf of our client based in Aintree.
Responsibilities
- Select appropriate wood types and materials, and prepare them according to detailed specifications.
- Craft bespoke cabinets, furniture and architectural features tailored to ecclesiastical and luxury home environments.
- Execute precise joinery techniques including dovetailing, mortise and tenon and other traditional woodworking joints.
- Operate hand tools such as chisels and saws, and power tools such as sanders, routers and drills.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all work meets design specifications and craftsmanship standards.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics and cutting lists with precision.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow joiners, carpenters and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven relevant experience or apprenticeships.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools with strong joinery knowledge.
- High standards of precision and craftsmanship.
- Capable of resolving fabrication issues efficiently.
The working hours are 08:30 - 16:30, Mon - Fri.
