We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to work on a full time and temporary basis for our client based in Loughborough.
Job title: Buyer
Type of role: Temporary with an aim to become permanent
Salary: £14 per hour
Location: Loughborough
About the role:
· Procurement of materials to support production
· Track deliveries and collections, updating relevant teams.
· Negotiate payment terms and review pricing for value.
· Validate supplier quotations to maintain profit margins.
· Maintain approved supplier list and research new suppliers.
· Ensure product quality and resolve supplier issues.
· Use data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
About you:
· Experience in manufacturing and purchasing.
· Strong supplier negotiation and ERP proficiency
· Effective communication and decision-making.
