Shifts and Location
Various Shifts available (day and night). Current Location: Camberley, Surrey (Farnham, Surrey from Spring 2026).
Pay
£16.67 to £17.90 per hour (dependant on experience) plus enhancements.
Overview
We are seeking motivated and dynamic Bank Registered Nurses to join our friendly and supportive Inpatient team. This is an exciting opportunity as we prepare to move back to a new 18 bedded Inpatient unit at Phyllis Tuckwell in Farnham. The Inpatient Unit is currently 10 beds, located in temporary accommodation in Camberley. We are looking to recruit Bank Registered Nurses who value flexibility and are looking for a rewarding role where they can provide high quality patient & family focused care within a supportive environment.
Requirements
Successful candidates will have the ability to assess and interpret clinical conditions, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be competent with IT systems. Whilst palliative care experience is valuable, it is not essential as full training and support will be given.

Responsibilities
1. Clinical: To provide best practice using evidence-based care to underpin the delivery of safe, effective, responsive, compassionate care; to provide clinical guidance and support to staff, both paid and voluntary; to ensure statutory obligations are met; to ensure quality standards are maintained and enhanced; to co-ordinate 24-hour provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care; to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team; to ensure patient records are properly maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines and PT policies; to understand ethical aspects of palliative care.
2. Professional: To understand and work within the Health and Social Care Act (2012), the PT business plan and philosophy; to work as part of the multidisciplinary team; to provide information and support to patients, carers and friends in accordance with Caldicott principles; to liaise with external health care professionals and other agencies ensuring patient continuity.
3. Managerial: To ensure a safe working environment; to report feedback or concerns; to ensure the team has appropriate skill mix and resources; to maintain team cohesion; to act up for the Nurse Key Worker; to support ongoing professional development; in the community to adhere to lone working policy.
4. Training and Development: To develop clinical expertise and disseminate to peers; to support professional development and safe practice; to maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge; to act as assessor/mentor to administrative staff and students; to encourage professional growth via annual appraisal; to strengthen clinical skills across care settings.
5. Research: To participate in research and audit; to implement findings of evidence-based practice.
6. Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: Understand responsibilities in safeguarding context and ensure PT reduces risk of harm.
Qualifications / Person Specification
Essential
* 1st Level Nurse
* Willingness to undertake relevant post graduate courses or equivalent
* Mentorship qualification, or Practice Supervisor /Assessor qualification, or willing to undertake
