Planning Consultant
Location: Remote – UK-based
Henderson Drake is working with a growing consultancy that's building out its UK team. They’re looking for a Planning Consultant with a strong understanding of financial processes and FP&A experience working with tools like Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Oracle PBCS, or similar systems.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with clients to solve planning challenges and improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Work with clients to understand their planning and reporting needs
* Help design and build financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) that support better decision-making
* Support implementation projects from design through to post-go-live
* Troubleshoot issues and guide clients through system adoption and change
* Collaborate closely with internal and client teams across industries
What We’re Looking For
* Experience with at least one planning tool (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, TM1, Oracle PBCS, etc.)
* Strong grasp of FP&A concepts and building planning models
* Good communicator, able to work well with clients and team members
* Flexible, problem-solving approach — someone who can adapt as projects evolve
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related area (professional qualifications a plus)
