The Role

* Participating in a comprehensive ECT induction program, featuring a dedicated subject mentor, a reduced teaching timetable, and bespoke professional development sessions.

* Contributing to the evolution of the DT curriculum, including the integration of digital design tools and sustainable materials.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026.
* A strong degree in Design & Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
* A professional, tenacious, and highly methodical approach to classroom instruction and workshop management.
* Demonstrated success during teaching placements, with a clear understanding of health and safety regulations (DATA/CLEAPSS).
* Competency in using digital design software (CAD) and manufacturing technology (CAM) to facilitate modern learning.
* A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to the wider life of a supportive school community.
