Legal Cashier
Location: Glasgow / Edinburgh (Hybrid)

With continued growth across its offices, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to play an integral role within its established finance team.
What You’ll be doing:
* Ensure full compliance with the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules and all financial regulations.
* Manage daily cashroom operations, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.
* Process client and office account payments, receipts, transfers, and complete regular bank reconciliations.
* Maintain and monitor client ledgers, ensuring precise and up‑to‑date financial records.
* Support fee earners and internal teams by resolving financial queries and assisting with billing processes.
* Manage banking relationships and assist with the oversight of all firm accounts.
* Contribute to internal controls, risk management activities, and audit requirements.
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance financial processes and efficiency across the department.
Who we’re looking for:
* A minimum of 3 years of legal cashiering experience within a law firm environment.
* Strong understanding of the Law Society of Scotland Accounts Rules.
* Confident using legal finance systems and technology.
* Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, with a proactive and solution‑focused approach.
