About the role
The Information Technology Support Administrator is responsible for the daily maintenance of Windows desktops and laptops, user support, and infrastructure upkeep. This role involves using Jira Service Desk for ticket management and prioritization.
The administrator reports to the Infrastructure Manager and supports hardware and software across the organization, ensuring efficient access to technology services for all users.
Your responsibilities:
1. Provide desktop support, including laptop configuration, imaging, troubleshooting, and software installation for all Pepper UK and PGS employees.
2. Manage Windows Active Directory, O365 (Azure VDI), and Microsoft Windows 11 administration, ensuring effective user management.
3. Configure and maintain printers, copiers, telephony/softphone systems, and software installations.
4. Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity and anti-virus issues (Sophos), with a focus on security.
5. Perform general maintenance, offer remote assistance, and communicate effectively at all levels, handling duties as requested by management.
6. Require 3+ years of experience as an IT Support Administrator or similar role.
7. Experience with PC/Laptop hardware configuration and troubleshooting.
8. Proficiency with Jira, Windows Active Directory, O365 (Azure VDI), Microsoft Windows 11, and Sophos.
9. Strong written and verbal English skills.
10. Team-oriented, detail-focused, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
