Business Analyst (HR)
Location - Preston x2 days per week onsite
Competitive outside day rate
Duration - initial 6 months with a likely extension
We're supporting the search for a Business Analyst with a strong background in HR systems and processes, to join a dynamic team driving tech-enabled change. This role will suit someone who understands how to translate business challenges into opportunities through smart technology and process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with senior HR stakeholders to identify where technology can add value
* Gather, document, and validate requirements that support strategic HR initiatives
* Lead and contribute to process mapping activities using BPMN or similar standards
* Support data cleansing efforts and identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven efficiencies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions
Key experience:
* Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders across HR and IT
* Solid understanding of HR systems, processes, and reporting
* Familiarity with Oracle systems is highly desirable
* Awareness of how RPA and AI can improve data quality and streamline operations
* Strong documentation and process mapping skills (BPMN or similar)
