Responsibilities
* Define and refine MRV protocols for soil-based carbon storage in regenerative agriculture systems and other ecosystems (grasslands, forests, etc.).
* Work with digital MRV companies to integrate emergent technologies into the soil carbon crediting process.
* Conduct literature reviews, analyze supplier data and apply modeling techniques.
* Collaborate with research partners and mentor team members.
Qualifications
* PhD in soil science, biogeochemistry, environmental sciences, or a related field with expertise in soil carbon dynamics and storage.
* Minimum 1 year in post-graduate work.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results.
* Clear communication skills.
* Proven ability to approach complex challenges with curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset.
* Bonus: Experience with soil carbon projects, from the supplier, registry, or MRV perspective.
