Dental Receptionist/Administrator/Client Co-ordinator
Hours: Full Time – 38.5 hours, Part time hours will be considered
Salary: from £14.00ph / £28,028pa
Illume is a fully private, well established four surgery dental practice in Cheltenham. We offer a wide range of treatment including general dentistry, orthodontics, implants, oral surgery, specialist prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.

As a Dental receptionist/Administrator you will benefit from working with an experienced, friendly team and be given full training and development opportunities.
The role is full time with a usual working pattern of Monday to Friday pm with weekends and evenings required on a shared rota basis. Part time hours will be considered
Role and Responsibilities
Our client co-ordinators carry out reception and related administrative duties within the practice and other reasonable duties as required. They will be well organised and able to effectively manage their workload, remain calm and polite, be well presented, friendly and enjoy dealing with the public. Our client co-ordinators are the first point of contact for the patient journey and will work as part of the team to ensure patients are well looked after at all stages.
Responsibilities include:
* Greeting patients, being the first friendly face they see
* Booking and amending appointments, diary management, answering the phone and updating patients records
* Work together within the front desk team to manage KPIs and ensure smooth running of the practice
* Handling payments
* Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
* Patient care at all stages from initial enquiry through to end of treatment
* Knowledge of dental services offered
* Reception admin - email, letters, welcome packs
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a reception or administrative role (dental experience advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided)
* Ability to keep calm in a fast paced environment and multitask
* Personable and positive with a great patient focus
* Confident in IT and be efficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and practice management systems, SOE experience preferred (training available)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
