Job Description - Housing Management Coordinator (25852)
Location: Torquay and Exeter, with flexible working from home options.
Contract: Permanent, part-time (22.5 hours per week), spread over 5 days with flexible hours.
Salary: £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per year pro rata) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan.
Overview: Join our South Devon team as a Housing Management Coordinator. You will focus on tenancy support, ensuring safe and well-maintained homes, and helping customers move to secure, long-term accommodation.
Typical Day:
* Work with adult customers with mental health issues, supporting their recovery and independence.
* Assist customers in maintaining their homes and involving them in tenancy management.
* Support housing benefit claims and manage rent accounts.
* Issue warning letters and notices, potentially attending court if necessary.
* Prepare rooms for new tenants and ensure maximum occupancy.
* Maintain health and safety standards and oversee maintenance work.
What You Bring:
* Experience managing housing caseloads and landlord duties.
* Knowledge of re-letting, rent collection, and tenancy procedures.
* Leadership skills to guide and support team colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and positively influence diverse individuals.
