About Us
We are a freehouse country, family owned gastro pub nestled in the Mid Sussex countryside, 30 minutes from Brighton. As a increasingly busy pub, we are now looking for a passionate, dedicated live-in chef or senior chef to work with our Head Chef and his team to continue to deliver the best customer experience with great quality cooking so customers continue to return and recommend us to their friends, family & colleagues.

Your Role
* daily food preparation
* support with ordering from suppliers to restock for the next day
* provide cover for the Head Chef when they are on annual leave
* work with the chefs to shape menus and specials
* maintain consistency in food delivery to increase/grow our google and trip advisor ratings
Who we are looking for?
* minimum 3 years experience
* competent meat and fish filleting knife skills
* minimum L2 cooking capability of both savoury and desserts
* flexible and adaptable to work in the high busy and quieter periods throughout the day
* enjoys sharing their knowledge and learning new techniques and adapt to changing customer tastes and trends
* a solid team player who is an effective communicator with both the kitchen and front of house team
