About the Role
The Recruitment Officer will play a vital role in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent across the site. This includes managing end-to-end recruitment processes, participating in local events, and continuously enhancing recruitment strategies to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with managers to assess staffing requirements and develop cost-effective recruitment plans
* Lead local recruitment efforts, especially in surrounding towns and areas
* Represent the company at job fairs and other recruitment events
* Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, candidate communication, and onboarding
* Build and maintain relationships with job centres and other external partners
* Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
About You
This role suits a proactive, personable recruiter with strong communication skills and a passion for connecting with people.
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in recruitment; experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple recruitment activities
* Understanding of legal and ethical recruitment standards
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to recruitment events
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
