About Allied Health services
Allied Health at Cabrini is a rapidly expanding and highly integrated service comprising twelve professional disciplines. The department plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across the organisation.
Cabrini Allied Health offers a wide range of opportunities, including senior consultant and leadership roles, clinical stream positions, junior staff rotation and support programs, professional development and teaching opportunities, and the cultivation of strong external and university partnerships.
How you will make an impact
We are seeking casual Physiotherapists to join our team to provide evidence-based contemporary care to our patients at Cabrini.
We have opportunities for casual physiotherapists to work on both weekdays and weekends in different areas of physiotherapy including:
1. Acute surgical - including cardiothoracic and abdominal
2. Acute orthopaedics - including joint replacement, trauma, neurosurgery, ED, paediatrics
3. Acute General medical and neurological
4. ICU
5. Inpatient rehabilitation – including orthopaedics, neurological and reconditioning
6. Outpatient rehabilitation and Rehabilitation in the Home
What the role involves
You will work with the physiotherapy team to provide evidence-based contemporary care to our patient cohorts.
We will roster you based on your clinical experience and specialisation. You need not have worked in all these areas to be a successful candidate for this role.
Key responsibilities:
7. Contribute to the delivery of high quality and compassionate clinical care.
8. Provide patient-centred physiotherapy to clients, including goal setting, assessment, appropriate treatment, and evaluation of therapy.
9. Work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and appropriate treatments and discharge planning.
10. Follow Cabrini documentation policies and handover procedures.
What we're looking for
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Grade 2 Physiotherapists who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care aligned with Cabrini’s mission and values. Experienced Grade 1 Physiotherapists looking to step into a Grade 2 role are encouraged to apply.

You will have:
17. A recognised physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
18. Experience in a hospital and/or community setting
19. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage complex patients, including discharge planning
20. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy caseload independently
21. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
