The School and Role
This specialist multi-academy trust supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, alongside a range of additional learning needs. With a strong emphasis on therapeutic practice, behaviour support, and personalised learning, the Trust provides a structured and nurturing environment. The role involves working closely with pupils to manage behaviour, develop coping strategies, and support engagement in learning as part of a dedicated and collaborative staff team.
Requirements
The desired Behaviour Support Mentor will have:
1. Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or SEND
2. Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
3. A calm, resilient and empathetic approach
4. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
5. A commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and progress
