Job Purpose
This role is within the Art area of the Creative Arts Programme Area at Coleg Menai, located at the Art campus in Parc Menai. The success of the Art courses is renowned and respected throughout Wales and beyond, with alumni having gone on to success both nationally and internationally within the Art sector. Our curriculum includes FE courses (level 1 to level 3) and HE courses (FdA Art & Design; BA(Hons) Fine Art and BA(Hons) Art & Design). This is an opportunity for an Art lecturer to join our successful, dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning within the area of their expertise and give ongoing support, advice and guidance to students that promotes success.

Salary: £22.58 - £34.91 per hour inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on qualifications and experience
Place of Work: Bangor
Holiday Entitlement: Pro rata paid holiday in each academic year (1st September to 31st August), including 8 Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in Wales and a pro‑rata entitlement of up to 5 efficiency days (may change annually). Annual leave derived from a pro‑ratio full‑time equivalent entitlement of 46 days.
Working Pattern: Up to 10 hours per week available, part‑time, hourly paid contract, from Mon – Fri. Work pattern to be agreed depending on availability. Subject & Level of delivery are based on qualifications and experience.
Additional percentage of between 10% - 63.33% (subject to criteria) will be applied to the contracted hours worked to reflect preparation and marking.
35 weeks per year (during the college term)
