3. Develop and implement category strategies in line with organisational goals.
4. Ensure compliance with PCR2015 and PA23 regulations throughout procurement processes.
5. Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and opportunities.
7. Monitor and analyse market trends to inform procurement decisions.
8. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
9. Provide guidance and support on procurement policies and procedures.
10. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Procurement Category Manager should have:
11. MCIPS qualification or equivalent procurement expertise.
12. Proven knowledge of PCR2015 and PA23 regulations.
13. Strong experience in category management within the not-for-profit sector.
14. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
15. Ability to develop and execute strategic procurement plans.
16. Proficiency in analysing market trends and implementing improvements.
17. Commitment to compliance and delivering value in procurement activities.
