As the Research Strategy Projects Officer you’ll play a key role in initiatives and projects that deliver our Manchester 2035 strategy. We are looking for an excellent team worker who can collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Your excellent organisational skills will be crucial within a high-volume, deadline driven environment. With demonstrable proactivity and the initiative to raise and help resolve difficult problems, you will be a detail-orientated professional, capable of managing multiple tasks independently while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
In addition to supporting distinct projects linked to the Manchester 2035 strategy, the role has the following key elements:
1. Lead, develop and deliver comprehensive briefings, reports and presentations for senior research leadership, including evidence collection and drafting.
2. Initiate, manage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery, ensuring the highest quality and influential interactions.
3. Participate in and support a range of team-wide deliverables and responsibilities involving administering strategic research funds and providing high-level support to governance groups and committees.
