Project Engineer Contract - Inside IR35 Stansted - 3 days per week onsite Hours per Week: 40 hours Qualifications Required: Chartered Engineer (ICE) – Civil and Mechanical qualifications including structures Vetting Level: CTC Job Description We are seeking two highly motivated and experienced Project Engineers to support the delivery of the a Transformation Programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering works across civil infrastructure, buildings, mechanical & electrical systems, and airfield pavements. This role is ideal for engineers with a proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects within live operational environments, ideally with or working towards Chartered Engineer status. Key Responsibilities * Support the planning, design, and delivery of engineering packages across civils, buildings, M&E, and pavements. * Act as technical lead for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and airport operational requirements. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. * Review design documentation, method statements, and risk assessments. * Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are maintained. * Provide engineering input into procurement, contract management, and change control processes. * Support testing, commissioning, and handover of completed assets. * Maintain accurate project records and contribute to reporting and governance activities.
