Competitive rates per parcel you deliver or collect Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn between GBP 18 - GBP 20 per hour (paid per parcel). We're in the business of delivering promises as well as parcels and are continually improving our offering. All our rates are competitively enhanced taking business mileage and operational costs into consideration.
Daily & Weekly Payment Options Yodel offers flexible payment options for Self-Employed delivery drivers, giving you the option to access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or alternatively, you can join the weekly payment cycle scheme, which begins after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.
Regular income opportunities Both payment options allow you to receive more regular payments for the delivery services you have provided.
We have plenty of parcels to deliver There are plenty of parcels to deliver, meaning the earning opportunity is in your hands. Parcels weigh up to 15 kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour depending on area and experience, for 6 days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn with the opportunity to take more parcels and boost revenue.
Freedom and flexibility You can plan your own route or use our award-winning app with simple instructions and built-in optimisation to help you plan routes, liaise directly with customers, and manage deliveries.
Regular work in the same area We deliver parcels for some of the biggest retailers, so there's no shortage of parcels. You'll be able to stay local and get to know the roads and customers.
Support and development You'll have the independence of being self-employed, plus the backing of our expert team and access to a Yodel representative to answer your questions.
The Life of a Core Delivery Driver
Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, keeping things fresh and interesting. At each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels and ensure they are safely received by the customer. We will arrange a suitable time for you to collect your parcels daily, or for those in rural areas we can drop off to you.

What you'll need to show us
No prior experience needed. We provide full training and support to help you get started. You will need to show:
* Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes)
* A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
* IOS or Android smartphone
* Proof of your own bank account
* A great attitude
