PSV Engineer \n\nContract - immediate starts available \n\n£30 - £44 hour Inside and Outside IR35 available\n\nNationwide\n\nVariety of shifts available\n\nWe are looking for a PSV Engineer to support fleet workshops on an ongoing basis across the UK\n\nAre you currently contracting as a PSV Engineer or HGV Technician? Are you looking for ongoing opportunities and to develop your skillset?”\n\n“Do you want to be rewarded in addition to your salary?”\n\nHere are just some of the many benefits you will receive working as a Venatu PSV / HGV Contractor\n\nWhy work as a Venatu PSV / HGV contractor?\n\nWages paid weekly.\nWorking conditions\nBlue-chip customers with fully equipped workshops\nLocal work wherever possible, as well as National opportunities\nContinuous work\nShort and long-term contracts (short-term often extend into months depending on the client’s needs).\nDeTechnical backup from a qualified engineer.\nWhat you will be doing?\n\n* Inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure road worthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.\n\n* Diagnostics and repair of mechanical issues, including steering, suspension, and brake systems.
Fuel and air systems, Transmission, and driveline.\n\n* Diagnostics and repair of electrical issues including ABS, EBS, HVAC and Multiplex CAN Systems.\n\n* Replacement of major units.\n\n* Repairs including engine repair/rebuild.\n\n* Use of Dealer level and generic diagnostic equipment to assist in time-efficient repair.\n\n* To repair and maintain vehicles to manufacturer's standards and schedules.\n\n* To always maintain health and safety standards., and work within company guidelines and safe working practices.\n\n* Complete job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork to a good standard.\n\nQualifications and experience requirements:\n\n* Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history.\n\n* City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 minimum in heavy vehicle or PSV\n\n* Ideally 5 years’ workshop experience in similar roles.\n\n* Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair and welding would be advantageous\n\nDo you want to find out more?\n\nCall Amanda Peters on (phone number removed) to discuss this and other opportunities and secure one of the roles today, and more importantly how you too can become part of the Venatu contracting team.\n\nVenatu Contracting Services is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group, we focus on the recruitment of talent across the UK.
