Procurement Assistant
Hereford – Office-based role
* Full time, Monday – Friday (7:30am- 5pm)
* Permanent position
* £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Our client is a dynamic and growing construction machinery parts company dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers. They are looking for a highly motivated and detail-orientated Procurement Assistant to join their team and support supply chain operations.
The Role
The Procurement Assistant will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure efficient coordination of procurement, inventory management, inbound logistics, and supplier relationships. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing inventory levels and ensuring stock availability
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track orders and deliveries
* Monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics and conduct annual supplier reviews
* Assist in overseas shipments and liaise with logistics companies to arrange timely deliveries
* Assist in the sourcing and procurement of special-order and bespoke items
* Point of contact for stock quality control checking and product analysis

Requirements:
* Experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement is a plus

* Technical engineering or mechanical background not essential but would be valued
