Jennings O’Donovan & Partners part of RSK Group are seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager - Wind, Solar & Battery Storage (FIDIC Contracts) to join the team in Sligo, with travel to project sites (Ireland or International) We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of onshore wind, solar PV, and battery storage (BESS) projects. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams through all stages of the project lifecycle – from feasibility and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover – with a strong emphasis on programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, and FIDIC contract management. This is a leadership role suited to an individual with proven technical, contractual, and commercial expertise in renewable energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, design, procurement, and construction delivery of wind, solar, and BESS projects in line with client and regulatory requirements. Oversee project teams and act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, regulators, and other key stakeholders. Manage project governance, risk, budget, schedule, and quality controls across multiple projects. Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC Red, Silver and Yellow Book provisions, including the management of variations, claims, and disputes. Direct site supervision teams including Resident Engineers and Health & Safety advisors. Chair client and site meetings, report on project progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Ensure compliance with planning consents, environmental conditions, and health & safety Construction Regulations. Support procurement of contractors and suppliers, including technical evaluations and commercial negotiations. Lead commissioning, performance testing, and handover procedures to ensure operational readiness. Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team. Person Specification: Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). 10 years' project management experience in infrastructure, with at least 5 years in renewable energy (wind, solar or BESS). Demonstrated experience delivering complex construction projects under FIDIC contracts. Strong understanding of the engineering, environmental, and grid connection requirements of renewable energy projects. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead large, multidisciplinary project teams. Commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets and negotiating contracts. Proficient in MS Project or Primavera, MS Office, and project documentation systems. Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required. Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent body - Desirable Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, APM) - Desirable Experience with international renewable projects and cross-border team coordination - Desirable Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD, or BIM platforms - Desirable Passion for sustainability and decarbonisation of the energy sector.
