 
        
        ABC Teachers is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to provide dedicated support to secondary aged students with challenging behaviours and Special Educational Needs (SEN).
About the role:
 * Emotional Coaching & Regulation: Providing focused, 1:1 support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)
 * Observation and Analysis: Observing and tracking behavioural triggers and patterns to inform effective interventions
 * Collaborative Practice: Working closely with the school community to ensure consistency and continuity in the pupil's support plan and educational provision.
 * Promoting Independence: Encouraging the pupil's self-confidence and self-efficacy by celebrating achievements and supporting their access to the curriculum
About the School:
 * A Specialist school based in Birmingham for children and young people aged from 9 to post 16 with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) issues with the aim of providing high quality education.
 * Following the embedded ethos to ensure students excel.
 * The school is focused on creating a curriculum that recognises individual talents and personalities which encourage all to flourish.
About you:
 * Significant experience working with either children or adults with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) conditions.
 * Experience in Managing Challenging Behaviour.
 * Genuine passion and commitment to mentor young learners.
 * Experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
 * This role would be suitable for candidates from the following backgrounds: mentoring, mental health, youth work, outreach work, social work.
 * Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
