Stores Assistant – Temporary
Location: Perth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £15.16 per hour
Duration: Temporary assignment, 3–4 months initially
Start Date: Immediate
Pertemps Scotland Ltd are currently recruiting a Stores Assistant on behalf of their client based in Perth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-organised team on a temporary basis.
Please note: A valid Level 2 Disclosure Scotland certificate is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking and packing stock items from picking lists
* Processing items through the till system
* Restocking shelves and carrying out stock rotation
* Receiving, off-loading and checking incoming deliveries
* Manual handling and heavy lifting (up to 35kg)
* Delivering canteen orders throughout the premises using barrows/trolleys
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Carrying out other duties as required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous warehousing or stores experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Computer literate with strong administrative skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliable, organised, and physically fit
