Security Officer - Glasgow Title - Security Officer Location - Glasgow, G51 4SA Salary - 13.10 per hour Hours - 42 hours per week Shifts - 4 on, 4 off - days and nights (12-hour shifts) As a Security Officer at Sodexo in Glasgow, you'll be a calm, reassuring presence and a key part of creating a safe and secure environment for everyone on site. You'll be working from the main gatehouse, helping protect people, property, and operations through vigilance, professionalism, and great communication. What you'll do: Manage site access and welcome all personnel and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Conduct regular security patrols and respond quickly to any incidents Maintain accurate logs and reports - from visitor check-ins to incident records Operate CCTV and security systems where required Support emergency procedures and liaise with emergency services as needed What you bring: Prior experience in a similar Security role Valid SIA licence Full UK Driving Licence (essential for the site's access requirements) Ability to stay calm under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations Strong communication skills and a professional approach What We Offer Working with our company is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
