Sales Manager – UK WIDE (Conveyors) £45,-£70, + Annual Bonus + Company Car
A well-established manufacturer of automated conveyor systems is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to cover the UK market. Ideally, you will be based within a two hour radius of the Midlands and have a strong background in automation sales – specifically conveyor systems or closely related products.
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales activities across the UK. This includes acquiring new customers, identifying additional revenue opportunities, up-selling to existing clients, and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, direct, and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives
2. Prepare detailed sales forecasts and provide input on sales management approaches
3. Contribute to marketing plans and propose strategy adjustments based on industry trends
4. Represent the voice of the customer internally
5. Manage sales budgets and regional business plans
6. Oversee customer expectations and project delivery timelines
7. Prepare quotations and lead price negotiations
8. Deliver technical product demonstrations
Requirements
9. Proven experience in the Automation sector, specifically selling Conveyor Systems
10. Strong background in technical sales
11. Located within a 2 hour radius of the Midlands
12. Full, clean UK driving licence
