What the Role Involves As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with learning disabilities and/or complex needs to live as independently as possible, make their own choices, and enjoy fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities may include: Providing emotional support and companionship Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and personal care Helping individuals access community activities and healthcare appointments Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring safety at all times Working closely with families and professionals Requirements Full UK Driving Licence required Flexible availability (evenings, sleep-in nights, and alternate weekends) Physically active and able to swim (essential for this role) A positive, caring attitude Good communication and teamwork skills Pro-active approach to supporting others Experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
