Hands-on Assistant Management Accountant role at a top Creative agency, supporting accounts, AP and project reporting on a rolling contract.
Join an instantly recognisable Creative agency for a hands-on temporary Assistant Management Accountant role. You’ll be part of a busy, dynamic finance team, supporting reporting, project accounting, and day-to-day financial operations across household and emerging brands.
This is a rolling contract for a minimum of six months, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments. The role is hybrid, based in Central London.
Key duties:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
2. Support project accounting and reporting across multiple client campaigns
3. Maintain accurate reconciliations and assist with month-end close processes
4. Oversee aspects of the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, approvals, and supplier queries
5. Process transactional accounting tasks such as expense claims, journals, and intercompany postings
6. Work closely with Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
7. Support continuous improvement of processes, controls, and reporting within the finance team
Key skills:
8. Part-qualified or studying towards an AAT/ACCA/CIMA
9. Experience working in a Creative or Advertising agency – or a fast paced, high volume environment
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Experience with transactional accounting, including AP and journals
12. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
13. Competent Excel skills (V look ups and pivot tables)
14. Proactive, organised and adaptable to changing priorities
