Classroom Supervisor (Secondary Schools)
Location: Sunderland and surrounding areas
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (full-time or part-time available)
We are recruiting Classroom Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Sunderland and the surrounding areas. These are ongoing opportunities, starting after Easter or as soon as possible.
Are you thinking about going into teaching but not sure how to take the first step? This role is a great way to gain hands-on classroom experience and build confidence before moving into teacher training.
As a Classroom Supervisor, you will support schools by delivering pre-set lessons during teacher absences. You will develop strong classroom management skills in supportive and welcoming school environments, without needing a teaching qualification.

Your role and responsibilities:
7. Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
8. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
9. Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies
10. Provide feedback to school staff following lessons
11. No planning or marking required
Requirements:
12. Recent experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
13. A degree-level qualification
14. A genuine interest in education
15. A reliable and proactive approach
