As Specialist Services Director, you will shape, develop, and lead the specialist cleaning division, ensuring delivery of world-class cleaning solutions. This strategic leadership role requires a commercially astute and operationally driven individual capable of driving efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction while ensuring health and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will lead teams, strengthen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to support growth. Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic vision for the specialist cleaning division, ensuring growth, operational efficiency, and innovation
* Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to support expansion and profitability
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer service and retention
* Serve as the primary contact for high-profile contracts, ensuring contractual obligations are met and exceeded
* Oversee daily operations of the specialist cleaning division, maintaining high service standards
* Develop and implement SOPs and KPIs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
* Ensure staff are trained and certified in specialist cleaning techniques, health and safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture
Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a senior role within specialist cleaning services, facilities management, or related fields
* Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, health & safety compliance, and regulatory frameworks
* Track record of delivering operational efficiencies and service improvements in fast-paced environments
* Commercial and financial acumen to drive revenue growth and cost efficiencies
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build stakeholder relationships
* Passion for innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in cleaning services
* Ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring high performance and engagement
