Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced customer service professional who will work in a flexible, dynamic, enthusiastic and proactive way whilst demonstrating exceptional communication skills & high personal standards. The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient & professional reception service as their primary role but also support for both the mailroom and additional site services whilst displaying exceptional attention to detail. You will represent our client and SPS in a corporate environment, responding to any requirements as and when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Greeting & addressing all clients/guests in a professional and pleasant manner ensuring every first impression is first class.
* Handling the visitor sign in process, issuing relevant guest passes & advising on any specific H&S requirements.
* Handling EV charging request, and issues related to equipment.
* Answering all calls in an efficient manner, transferring calls as appropriate through the switchboard, assisting with any enquiries whilst ensuring the level of service on the telephone is exceptional.
* Proactively deal with enquiries from the client, both face to face and on the telephone.
* Conducting floor walks/Meeting room checks with an eye for detail checking rooms are at the required standard, reporting any faults and any irregularities to the client, and line manager.
* Assisting in the coordination & preparation of meeting rooms, Bookings and events as required.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with our client and onsite vendors incorporating a (one team approach)
* Providing back of house Mailroom Support when needed, receiving, sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and all courier related functions.
* Actively demonstrate a good knowledge of the client's services to assist in the seamless delivery of the customers experience.
* Build & maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, procedures, systems & developments, as well as general information, in order to be able to provide clients & visitors with information as required.
* Ensure prompt resolution of any customer complaints, escalating to the line manager as required.
* Proactively communicate any operational matters of concern & potential issues with your line manager, ensuring resolution at an early stage.
* Any other duties as required by your line manager.

Candidate Skills:

* Experience in a front of house operation i.e. a corporate or Hotel environment
* Consistently presents themselves with professionalism and attention to detail and maintains a high standard of personal presentation and precision in all aspects of work
* First class customer service & complaint handling
* Confident in both written and verbal forms of communication
* Collaborative team member with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment
* Working accurately, under pressure, to tight deadlines with the ability to remain calm
* Ability to be flexible with shifts and rotations
* Basic IT skills – Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Email and Web
