Head of Quality Assurance We are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance to join our Quality Team. This is a 35 hours per week, full time, permanent role offering a salary of £45,643 to £52,886 per annum. Why Join Us? Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: The Head of Quality will have central oversight of all internal and external Quality Assurance activities to ensure consistent and effective quality assurance across the College. Working in collaboration with Heads of Department and external stakeholders, this role will oversee the quality of all provision and implement quality assurance solutions to consistently raise standards and achieve best practice. Lead, develop and effectively implement the College strategy for quality assurance and improvement across all provision types (including subcontracted delivery) to drive identified initiatives which ensure that college targets are met. Lead the digitisation and automation of quality assurance processes, including electronic IQA, self-assessment, lesson observation, and performance tracking systems. Work collaboratively with Curriculum, MIS, IT, and Student Services to embed quality assurance processes across the organisation. Work closely with MIS/IT teams to design and implement new digital tools and platforms that enhance efficiency and accessibility of quality data. Skills and Qualifications: Level 2 or above literacy/English qualification. Level 2 or above numeracy/Maths qualification. Evidence of continuing professional development, particularly in leadership and management in an educational context. Experience of developing and using quality solutions to make substantial quality improvements within the Further Education (FE) sector. Strong understanding of awarding body requirements, assessment methodologies, and quality assurance processes. Experience in leading and managing teams, including performance management and delivering professional development.
