Candidate Profile

·Able to follow detailed work instructions and SOP
·Complete documentation to record completed individual tasks and plan departmental workload using the site CMMS.
Key responsibilities:
·Working safely at all times & escalating issues that present a hazard to yourself or others including all persons on site or members of the public
·Following company / local site rules and adherence to company values
·Respond to breakdowns, systematically find faults, identify root cause and then implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
·Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency.
·Work with production, support groups and suppliers to implement improvement opportunities to increase equipment efficiency and safety and reduce engineering downtime.
·Identify and implement improvements to equipment to increase process robustness and reliability.
Qualifications
* Qualified Mechanic / Electrical / Multiskilled having served a recognised apprenticeship.
* Minimum NVQ level 3 / BTEC / City & Guilds
* Multi-skilled to some degree with credible, demonstrable electrical and / or mechanical experience in an industrial maintenance environment in addition to a core discipline
* Pneumatics, hydraulics demonstrable on the job experience is a requirement
* Experience & understanding of an automated process environment is essential

* PLC / Scada / Controls understanding & experience
* Fabrication / welding experience
* Drives and powertrains
* Fault finding / problem solving
* Silo safety
* Confined space
* Working at height
* Pumps - positive / Vacuum
* Gas safe
* FLT
* MEWP
* Mobile plant knowledge – Automotive knowledge
* Safety qualifications IOSH / NEBOSH
