About Operational Excellence Operational Excellence at Ingenuity delivers world-class Operations Transformation across the nutrition division and the wider group, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and enabling global growth. Ingenuity is looking to recruit a Carrier Manager with 5 years' experience in Carrier Management to drive performance across our global courier network. Your primary focus will be to ensure that Ingenuity's client shipments are delivered to customers within agreed timeframes, and identifying and fixing any issues to constantly optimise carrier performance. You will work with our internal Tech teams to build best-in-market capability for Ingenuity Delivered – our proprietary carrier management platform. This an exciting but challenging role with multiple internal touchpoints, meaning the ideal candidate would need to be comfortable in working in a fast-paced role. Responsibilities: Ensure that logistics transport and delivery solutions are provided to meet with targets set by the business by driving strategic initiatives Identify and execute ongoing optimisations to carrier performance Setup, management and maintenance of ingenuity delivery rules across all solutions – E2E / standalone fulfilment / THG Delivered etc Develop Ingenuity Delivered (Ingenuity's proprietary carrier management platform) capability with our Tech team Responsible for account management for Ingenuity Delivered clients as clients are onboarded To continuously and sustainably ensure that Ingenuity Ingenuity’s customers experience the best possible service from our partners To carry out this role effectively you will need to have a good understanding of courier networks and key partners globally Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could affect the movement of freight Requirements: Experience working in the Transport and Delivery side of Logistics, with plus a good understanding of logistics and e-commerce Excellent communication skills - you will be liaising with a variety of people Clarity in communication, as major problems could arise through inaccuracies Good organisational and planning skills Good geographical knowledge Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances Problem-solving ability, particularly when working under pressure Accuracy and attention to detail What's in it for you?
