Park Recruit are delighted to be partnering with our client, a highly reputable and growing manufacturing client in Mid Ulster, in the appointment of a Head of Supply Chain to join their team. With a strong growth trajectory, my client is focused on building core functions within the business, and this role will be instrumental in implementing an effective and streamlined supply chain strategy to help deliver their projects, which extend across UK, Ireland and Internationally. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the company's supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Continuously improve processes to drive cost reduction, enhance service levels, and optimise operational efficiency. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, components, and services. Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous deals. Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and cost. Manage inventory levels to ensure that the company has the materials needed for production while minimizing carrying costs. Implement inventory control procedures, including stock audits, demand forecasting, and reordering processes. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure the timely delivery of goods to production and customers. Collaborate with transportation partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs. Work closely with the Production Manager to develop and implement production schedules that align with supply chain capabilities. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the electrical or manufacturing industry. Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations, leading teams, and driving process improvements. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with a strong understanding of supply chain KPIs and metrics. Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain management software. Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
