Vacancy Details:
Location: Melton
Hourly Rate: £13.89
Hours: 48 hours average per week
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, alternating between days and nights
Main Responsibilities:
1. Access Control - Gatehouse and Reception duties, welcoming and assisting visitors, identifying threats, and escalating issues.
2. Loss Prevention - Conducting searches of colleagues and contractors in line with company policy.
3. Site patrols to deter criminal activity.
4. Collaborating with clients to identify risks and reviewing CCTV footage for investigations.
5. Liaising with management and authorities when necessary.
6. Reporting incidents digitally and using mobile devices for daily activities.
7. Providing detailed incident reports to assist investigations.
8. Adhering to health & safety, equal opportunities, and company policies.
Qualifications and skills include confident communication, professionalism in conflict resolution, and staff management. Previous gatehouse experience is advantageous but not essential, as training is provided. A valid SIA license is mandatory. Applicants must provide a 5-year checkable work or education history, and bring right-to-work documents and proof of address for interviews.
