Job Opportunity: Pupil Support Manager
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Pupil Support Manager due to the retirement of the current postholder. The main aspects of this role include:
1. Working closely with outside agencies to improve outcomes for pupils who are Looked After Children
2. Monitoring and tracking attendance, identifying causes for concern, and working with pupils, parents, and external agencies to promote regular attendance
3. Overseeing the coordination and administrative support of the Annual Review (EHCP) cycle, ensuring smooth scheduling and completion in line with statutory timelines
4. Collaborating with NHS colleagues and families to write and update individual Health Care Plans for pupils
5. Ensuring smooth transition for new pupils joining The Beacon
The successful candidate will join our central services team and will need to build relationships with external agencies such as KPAS, Local Authority Virtual Schools Teams, Social Workers, NHS, and other school colleagues. Within The Beacon community, you will develop strong relationships with families, carers, class-based staff, and our Multi-Agency Support Team.
This role is suitable for a teacher/SENDCO seeking a change or an experienced SENDCO assistant. It is vital in supporting our young people to thrive.
