Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals during the night. As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours.

* This role is primarily focused on assisting those in need of overnight care in a peaceful and safe environment
* Offer reassurance, help with personal care needs, and ensure that our clients are comfortable throughout the night
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
* Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary

Qualifications
* Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
* Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
* Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
* Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
* Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
* Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends
* Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
* Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
