Leading high street retailer seeks SEO Manager for 3-6 month contract (£50-55k pa) to lead and maintain strong organic search performance.

A leading high street retailer is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to take ownership of their organic search performance on a temporary basis. You’ll keep SEO activity running seamlessly during a busy trading period. This is a 3-6 month contract, salary is £50-55k pa.

ABOUT THE ROLE
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver and maintain effective SEO strategies across multiple consumer-facing brands
* Manage day-to-day SEO operations to ensure business continuity during a key seasonal period
* Conduct keyword research and identify new areas for organic growth
* Optimise website content, landing pages, and product guides for search visibility
* Analyse performance and create regular reporting dashboards with actionable insights
* Monitor algorithm updates and recommend improvements to safeguard rankings
* Partner with trading, UX, IT, and marketing teams to embed SEO best practices
* Contribute to the development of the future in-house SEO function
ABOUT YOU
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an SEO Manager or Senior SEO Executive
* Strong technical, on-page, and off-page SEO expertise
* Skilled in tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Deep Crawl, and Google/Adobe Analytics
* Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
* Confident communicator able to collaborate cross-functionally
* Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities during peak trading times
