Job overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Audiologist to join our Paediatric Audiology Service, supporting children and families across North West London.
The service delivers comprehensive paediatric audiology care, including assessment of babies referred through the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme, behavioural and objective hearing assessments for children of all ages, and the habilitation of children with hearing loss. We also provide a specialist Bone Conduction Hearing Implant (BCHI) service. The Paediatric Audiology Service works closely alongside Adult Audiology Services and the Newborn Hearing Screening Programme to ensure seamless care.
The department is an accredited Scientist Training Programme (STP) training centre with the National School of Healthcare Science. The post holder will act as a Training Officer, providing clinical supervision, training and mentoring to STP trainees and junior staff, and will be expected to maintain ongoing professional development.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive, caring and patient‑centred approach, with the ability to remain calm, organised and adaptable in a busy clinical environment. You will contribute to the continued development and delivery of a high‑quality service.
