Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and tidy.
* Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly to support ongoing kitchen operations.
* Support chefs during service by delivering ingredients and assisting with basic cooking tasks when required.
* Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
* Help with stock rotation and inventory management to maintain freshness of ingredients.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
* Basic culinary skills, including food preparation techniques, are advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
