Key Attributes Apprentice Trained or Degree Mechanical Engineering AutoCAD Inventor Machinery Design Experience The Role Reporting to the Mechanical Design Lead you will be responsible designing innovative and cost effective solutions for end of line packaging Automation solutions, the role will be a mix of concept and redesign of existing products Key duties Design packaging solutions, experience of AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault primarily or SolidWorks. The role will be primarily office based, but there will be some travel required for sites surveys and workshop commissioning. Interpretation GA drawings, Factory and Machine Layouts Bespoke Special Purpose Machinery Design Experience Moving Parts, Robots, Servo Motors, Chains, Pneumatics & Linear Actuators and Conveyor Assembly drawing and BOM's There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
