We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our NHS@home team! This role is primarily office-based. The position operates on a shift pattern, covering hours from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Sunday.
Healthier together @home is a model of care that delivers traditionally hospital-based care in people’s home, supported by joint working with system partners and the use of appropriate remote clinical monitoring tools.
Our aims are to:
* Reduce unnecessary hospitals stays
* Promote confidence in the delivery of care in people’s home
* Promote confidence in a collaborative approach
* Promote shared decision making between patients and healthcare providers collectively
* Increase the positive approach to managing clinical risk of people managed in home settings across the system.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities include managing referrals, handling incoming calls, and ensuring the smooth operation of the office and team. This role requires effective prioritisation of tasks to maintain efficiency, ensuring that all key functions of the service are covered.
We collaborate closely with volunteers and other teams across the system, providing guidance and support while planning and coordinating tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective contributions to the team.
Our team works with acute patients in a fast-paced environment, often managing high-pressure situations. We prioritise efficiency, adaptability, and patient‑centred care to ensure the best possible outcomes while navigating the challenges of urgent demands.
