Salary: £36,000 - £38,500 + overtime & call‑out pay

Overview
An established and growing pump rental solutions provider is looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to support their operations across the Midlands. This is a mobile role involving the service, repair, and maintenance of diesel and electric‑powered pumping systems, both on‑site and at the depot.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical and electrical pump systems
* Carry out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support
* Install and service pumps on customer sites
* Maintain accurate service records and follow health & safety protocols
* Participate in a call‑out rota (enhanced pay applies)
Requirements
* NVQ or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience with pumps, engines, or heavy plant equipment
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding ability
* Comfortable working independently and dealing directly with customers
Desirable
* Background in pump hire, plant hire, or utilities
* Experience using lifting equipment
