Night Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate Night Support Worker to provide high quality care and support to residents in a welcoming nursing home environment.
Position: Night Support Worker
Salary: £ per hour
Location: Llandovery, Dyfed
Hours: Full time, 44 hours per week (night shifts)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Ongoing
About the role
This is an important role within the care team, providing overnight support to residents and ensuring their comfort, safety and wellbeing. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver person centred care, particularly for individuals living with dementia and those requiring nursing support.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing personal care in line with individual care plans
2. Supporting residents with meals and hydration where required
3. Assisting with safe moving and handling and transfers
4. Maintaining accurate and up to date care records
5. Offering reassurance, comfort and emotional support during the night
6. Promoting dignity, privacy and independence at all times

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.

This role is based within a well established nursing home located near the historic town of Llandovery, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. The home supports residents living with dementia and those requiring nursing care, with a strong focus on delivering high quality, person centred support in a safe and supportive environment.
