Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Sale that is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills. This role is pivotal in promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions to enhance pupils’ behavioural, emotional, and social development.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to implement effective behaviour strategies.
* Support pupils in developing resilience, self-regulation, and positive social interactions.
* Monitor and record progress, contributing to behaviour plans and reviews.
* Foster a calm, positive atmosphere throughout the school.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children with behavioural or social/emotional needs.
* Is patient, empathetic, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
* Can work independently as well as part of a team.
* Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Is committed to upholding the school’s ethos and values.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
