Parts Team Leader
Location: Glengormley
Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Team Leader to join a busy and well‑established commercial vehicle operation. This is a hands‑on role where you will lead a parts department, supporting both workshop and external customers while driving performance, efficiency, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Parts Team Leader
* Lead, motivate, and develop the parts team
* Support technicians and customers in identifying and sourcing parts
* Work closely with the workshop to ensure parts availability
* Drive internal and external parts sales
* Monitor departmental KPIs, performance, and costs
* Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy
* Process incoming and outgoing parts orders efficiently
* Maintain a clean, organised, and well‑run parts department
* Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Requirements of the Parts Team Leader
* Proven experience in a Parts Team Leader / Senior Parts Advisor role
* Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles (HGVs, trailers, vans)
* Previous experience within a dealership or similar environment
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
* IT literate with experience in parts systems
* Experience with Kerridge / ADP Autoline (desirable)
* A proactive and motivated approach
